The Zimmer Children’s Museum’s events and galas, held annually, are some of the ways we can thank those who have been particularly generous and supportive. These occasions are also an excellent opportunity for our benefactors to get to know one another.

Discovery Award Dinner

Event:Zimmer annual gala and sit-down dinner where we present the Discovery Award to extraordinary individuals who are builders, creators and leaders in their fields and communities.

The Discovery Award recognizes the importance of the work and accomplishments of those honored.

The Discovery Award itself is a commissioned sculpture from a prominent artist, highlighting the various symbols representing the creative and educational philosophies of the Zimmer Children’s Museum. Each symbol emphasizes a critical component in the development of our exhibitions, educational programs and outreach projects.
