Join us for weekly stories in the Community Park. Come to the Museum early
and play before story time begins.

Toddler Programs
TODDLER PASSOVER CELEBRATION
During this special one day workshop children and their families will explore the Passover Seder through food, music, stories and art projects.
April 3 (Thursday) from 10:00am-11:30am
This workshop is $10 per child for members and $15 per child for non-members (plus Museum admission fee). Space is limited - pre-registration required!
TODDLER SHABBAT GROUP
This pre-Shabbat experience for toddlers and accompanying adults provides the opportunity to enjoy singing and stories, blessings, music, and art projects.
Thursday mornings from 10:00am-11:15am
Recommended for ages 16 months-3 years
Series I: March 6, 13, 20, 27
Series II: May 1, 8, 15, 22
Toddler pre-Shabbat Program is $60 per 4-week session for members and $75 for non-members (includes the price of admission). Limited space!

TODDLER ART
Our age appropriate art classes encourage your
children's creativity and imagination while you work and
play together. Working with our trained staff, your child
will experiment with color, texture and patterns while
discovering the world of art.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Zimmer Museum is proud to offer community service hours for friendly and motivated teens who want a rewarding volunteer experience in a unique environment. Volunteers will be able to learn the ins and outs of an interactive childrens museum by working with museum educators on family programs. All workshops begin promptly at 2:00 and 3:00pm, unless otherwise specified. All workshops are free for members and $3 per child for non-members, in addition to entrance fee. Space is limited. Please register at the front desk before the workshop begins.
February 17 - Passport to the World: China
The Zimmer Children's
Museum invites you and your family to celebrate the Chinese
New Years. Make beautiful art, listen to cultural music and
learn about Chinese New Year traditions.
February 24 - Presidents' Birthday Party*
A party fit for a
President! We are having a grand party for George Washington
and Abraham Lincoln. Join us in the art room to help design
a fantasy birthday cake.
March 2 - Ezra Jack Keats (special time)
Celebrate the birthday of award winning author Jacob Ezra Katz. Attend readings of his beloved books The Snowy Day and Peter's Chair at 3:00pm in the Slavin Children's Library and then join us in the Museum art room for book related art projects.
March 9 - Spring Garden*
Roses, lilies, daffodils and tulips! Help us plant your favorite flower in an imaginary garden right in the Museum Park.
March 16 - Purim Costumes
The Zimmer Museum helps you get ready for Purim in style! Using pictures for inspiration, children will design and make their own original creations to wear for this festive holiday.
March 23 - Getting Fit Together - Do Kindercise
Join fitness specialist, Farrah Zweig, as she leads families in activities and games that highlight the importance of spending time together in a healthy way.
March 30 - Animal Puppets
Spring is the time that many animals have their babies. Children can celebrate this by making animal puppets out of recycled paper bags.
April 6 - Passport to the World - Russia
Learn about Russian spring traditions as we celebrate the Russian Red Hill holiday by creating cultural art projects and listening to festive music.
May 4 - Scavenger Hunt - Spring Flowers and Showers*
By hunting for colorful flowers, children learn about the names and types of flowers that bloom in the spring.
May 18 - Magical Masks
Using traditional masks from Africa and Mexico as inspiration, children paint and decorate their own masks made of palm bark.
May 25 - Bear Wants More
Join us as we read this delightful story about a hungry bear awakening from hibernation. Using unique materials, a story inspired art project will follow.
