SING-A-LONG
Tuesdays and Fridays @ 11am, in the Mann Theater
This free treat is sure to get your little ones laughing and singing along with all your favorite classic children’s songs! Plus, every third Friday special guest singer, David Tobocman, joins us with his own top hits!

OPEN ART STUDIO
Tuesdays @ 3pm, in the Art Room
Each week, our studio welcomes young artists to participate in a new project. Drop in anytime the studio is open to create entirely original masterpieces!

BUBBLES
Fridays and some Wednesdays @ 3pm, in the Community Park
Lets get poppin'!

CULTURE CLUB
Wednesdays @ 11am, in the Art Room
Explore stories, songs, and cuisines from around the world!

STORY TIME
Thursdays and some Tuesdays @ 11am, in Bubbie’s Bookstore

This interactive story time is sure to keep the little ones entertained!

WIND WHIRL
Some Wednesdays and some Thursdays@ 3pm
in the Community Park
Creations take flight in our wind tunnel at the Discovery Airport!

MYSTERY BOX
Fridays @ 3pm, join us to find out location
Join us as we discover what's in the box!

SHADOW PLAY
Thursdays @ 3pm, at the Light and Shadow exhibit
Lets see what fun shadows your little one can come up with as they play around with different shapes under the light!

All Sunday drop-in programs run from 3:00pm-4:00pm and are FREE with paid admission.

MARCH

Sun, March 1 – A Dr. Seuss Sunday (2pm – 4pm) 

We’re celebrating Dr. Seuss and his wonderful world of words that rhyme and striped top hats!  Join us as we read stories, make paper hats, and turn into cats (with face painting, of course!)!

Sun, March 8 – Zimmerpalooza (11am – 5pm) 

You are invited to the Zimmer’s biggest family party of the year!  With a special performance by The Beat Buds, Twinkle Time & Friends, and a showcase of art created by participants of Zimmer’s signature classes, including Messy Masterpieces and Tinker Time. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this full day of family fun!  Other activities include face painting, balloon animals, and much more!

Admission is FREE for museum members, or $25 general admission ticket

Mon, March 9 – Story & Art with PJ Library (11am – 11:45am) 

Join us for a special PJ Library story time, followed by an art activity in our Art Studio! Today's reading is about courage: Beautiful Yetta: The Yiddish Chicken by Daniel Pinkwater - Yetta escapes from the chicken farmer's cage, but what is a country hen to do in a big, unfamiliar Brooklyn?

Spring is approaching, and our flowers are blooming!  Join us in our art studio to create your cherry blossoms!

Sun, March 22 – Tortoise, Spiders & Snakes, Oh my!  (3pm – 4pm)

Discover creatures that are crawling, scurrying, and slithering by!  Join us for a special presentation of live animals!

Mon, March 23 – Story & Art with PJ Library (11am – 11:45am) 

Join us for a special PJ Library story time, followed by an art activity in our Art Studio! Today's reading is about caring for the environment: 26 Big Things Small Hands Do - As you go through the alphabet, don't forget the ABC's of mitzvot. Performing good deeds is something even the littlest among us can do.

Sun, March 29 – Open Art: Vincent van Gogh (2pm – 4pm) 

Post-Impressionist and Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh is known for his landscapes, self-portraits and sunflowers.  Join us in our art studio as we paint our own sunflowers!

Mon, April 6 – Story & Art with PJ Library (11am – 11:45am) 

Join us for a special PJ Library story time, followed by an art activity in our Art Studio! Today's reading is about acts of love & kindness: Bear Feels Sick by Karma Wilson - Poor Bear. He's home in bed, feeling absolutely crummy. But look - his friends all visit to help him feel better. That's what the mitzvah of bikur cholim is all about.

Sun, April 12 – Second Sunday Concert: Klezmer Juice (3pm – 4pm)

Wed, April 15 and Fri, April 17 – 4th Annual Art Crawl! (9am – 11:30am) 

In celebration of the Week of the Young Child, the Zimmer Children’s Museum is delighted to bring back our Annual Art Crawl!  Get ready to let your little ones loose in an art crawl like no other!  The entire room becomes a canvas & baby booties become brushes!

9:00am – 11:30am, 20 minute timed sessions.  For ages crawlers to 2 years.  Some sessions reserved exclusively for *VIB* guests or members only.  RSVP encouraged.

IMPORTANT: Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your timed session and check-in at the front desk.  After 5 minutes of your scheduled start time, your RSVP will no longer be valid.

Sun, April 19 – National Poetry Month (2pm – 4pm) 

It’s National Poetry Month!  Poetry is a wonderful way for little learners to explore rhythm and rhymes, sounds and syllables, build vocabulary and more!  Join us in our art studio as we make and take our own mini poetry books!

Mon, April 20 – Story & Art with PJ Library (11am – 11:45am) 

Join us for a special PJ Library story time, followed by an art activity in our Art Studio! Today's reading is about not wasting/recycling: Joseph Has a Little Overcoat by Simms Taback - In this beloved Jewish folktale, Joseph's old and tattered coat is recycled and takes the form of increasingly smaller articles of clothing.
